And so as our country’s vision nowadays. Astronaut + congkak = bodoh! If anyone had read an article written by some journalist on Malaysia. I think you would have agree with me. Especially the last line of the text which sounds like; that is not Malaysia Boleh but that is Malaysia Bodoh. Hahaha…
The statement was made after the writer touched on the plan of Malaysian sent to the space with a lot of money wasted on that. Just to play the traditional game up there. Which in the first place the government should have used the money on other beneficial stuff in Malaysia…ON the earth.
Hard to admit, but I did try to apply the astronaut thingy last time. It was a few years back that the government advertise it with a tagline that EVERYONE can be malaysia’s first astronaut. Lucky I am not qualified enough because I pity those who were selected to the last stage. Of all the hard work and blood and sweat, they got a chance to play congkak in space. *YAY! - hahaha*
Teh tarik + congkak + batu seremban +space =….stupid. No wonder most of the record in the Malaysian Book of Records also all very weird and not worth recorded.
And today on the news during the parliament…One of the MP said the international series such as the spanish telenovela, bollywood series, filipino teleseryes, and other foreign language TV series IS non-beneficial for the viewers in Malaysia. Just because the fact that it is not Malay and most of us don’t understand it. I think this particular MP really bodoh also la. Tidak pernah tengok tv ka?
Those series got subtitles la.Somemore, some people learn how to master certain language of the show by watching it ‘excessively".heheh..But its still Ok. the translator also got some job opportunity if we have foreign series on national TV.
MP oso sometimes bodoh. No wonder they can come up with the suggestion to play congkak in space…
